Kennewick Ghost Tour
Unearth the stories of one of the regions first undertakers. Irvin Nicholas "I. N." Mueller began operating Mueller Funeral Home in downtown Kennewick in 1910 after briefly working as an embalmer for H. A. Howe. His eldest son, Amon, worked with him until I.N.'s death in 1940, and continued with his mother Annie Caroline (one of the state’s first women in the position) until her retirement in the 1960s.
The Mueller Undertaker firm was part of an operation called upon to act as a sort of CSI unit, helping local police determine the cause of death when bodies were found in the Wild West days of Kennewick. Sometimes these grizly scenes were accidents, and sometimes it was something darker. Come hear the sordid details of Kennewick's early years and see the locations where these events unfolded.
