Whether you’re new or a long time local in Richland we have something for you. Richland is a town that changed the course of history forever. Today, through the buildings of downtown Richland you’ll see how the town of Richland grew from a small, dusty farming community of 250 residents founded in 1905, to a secret city of 15,000 during the war producing plutonium for the Atomic Bomb, to even more as plutonium production ramped up during the Cold War.

Explore the history of this town with a local guide and experience the brewing history in the city of the bomb.
You’ll learn about Richland’s craft brewing scene, starting with the very first pioneer of craft brewing in this area, whose branding is inspired by Richland’s nuclear history and contribution to the creation of the atomic bomb, and finishing up with one of Richland’s newest brewery locations, Moonshot Pub at the Park.
There has just been a Tap Trail launched here in the Tri-Cities, similar to the Ale Trail in Bend or the Tap Trail in Bellingham, where you can get stickers and win prizes for visiting craft breweries and taphouses around the Tri-Cities. If you decide to get a drink or food at either of the two brewery locations we’ll visit tonight, you can pick up a Tap Trail map at either location, plus get your stickers to get your map started and get you that much closer to prizes!
